Once, there were many types of oaks in Caliornia: the scrub oak, the live oak, the black oak.

Now most of what we see are Cheerioaks, the Spaghetti-Oaks, and other members of the Nabiscoak family.

Tonight on Nova: the spread of these new species, and their threat to the old growth cornflake forests.
